Sam Linda and I took a little trip to Texas Canyon. I tried to look up some facts on it but there was not a lot of information

about Texas Canyon its self, most likely because it basically a rest area and not one of the bigger attractions.

Regardless I thought it was very interesting as I did not see any other types of rock formations like this around the area.

This was coming into the canyon.

This is see as you come up to the rest area .

Ok now we are at the rest area, trucks and campers are the vehicle of choice here. This is the same hill from the above picture.

In the middle of the rest stop is this boulder formation. You can’t walk outside of the rest stop as it’s fenced off, most likely

because idiots have been spray-painting the rocks. If you look at the top boulder to the right you can see where it was sand blasted.

This little boulder started rolling but Sam stopped it in time before it did any damage.
